# 15 Beauty in Bhedaghat

Gondia is a dead city. There is just one Sagarika and one Gateway to go to for an outing with friends. There is also Kesar- a shady bar where I would not like to go again. So when we had a weekend to ourselves without any flying and ground school, we decided to explore a bit.
Bhedaghat is 250 km from Gondia and a 4-5 hour long road trip. We left around 4 am and by 4- 15, we had already stopped in the middle of the road due to fuel starvation in one of our cars :P
As we neared our destination, via Balaghat and Jabalpur, we contemplated the fact that it is pre-monsoon season- the river might be completely dry. But that wasn't the case.
We reached our hotel- Vrindavan Gopala, right atop the Dhuadaar waterfall and came face to face with a beautiful view.

The view from the cable car.

The boat ride which left us speechless. The funny commentary and the names of the various movies shot around this area, including that one song from Ashoka.

The waterfall. Up close :D
